It's the killer snakehead fish. These puppies can grow up to three feet long, weigh 44 pounds, and can crawl out of water and survive for four days. And now, according to the Headline of the Day, this Human-killing fish strikes fear into Brits.
The snakehead, native to south-east Asia, caused some concern among English fishermen and conservationists when this highly invasive species, which as the Headline of the Day points out has been known to kill humans, was caught in Lincolnshire.
Key Quote: An Environment Agency source told The Sun: "The reaction was, 'Oh s***.'"

Oh s*** indeed!

Man! That thing is nasty! I can't believe a fish can survive on land for up to 4 days. How does it not get eated by birds as soon as it's out of the water!? Crazy.
Why so many deleted comments?

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwy
The bit about this fish being able to live on land for four days is NOT true, as for the bit about it being found in England: sightings in Lincolnshire (UK), which was proved to be a hoax. Come on people look at the facts before posting. Wiki is there for a reason. I will say this though, these fish have been known to live up nine hours without being in water. This was tested out by a scientist and he was amazed too. They can also walk on land but not over long distances. All in all, this is one fish you don't want to catch and if you do, kill it, please! BTW It is illegal to keep snakeheads as pets in thirteen states of the USA and other countries as they have become an invasive species due to irresponsible owners releasing them into the wild when they could/would no longer take care of them. If in an enclosed area they will try anything to escape. If in an aquarium they will charge at full force and tend to knock over the aquarium or shatter the glass
